The fourth water filling completion of PS1-C pump station and YCFL-3 water balance tank means that all the preparation work for YCFL-3 water balance tank’s settlement test of Saudi Arabia sea water desalination SWCC project which is undertook by our company is ready.
The staff of the project was positively communicated with the supervisor before the settlement test, two was selected for surveying at random with foundation pile, and eight coordinate points was selected around water balance tank. The water balance tank with 26m height and 94m3 volume was to be monitored regularly four time , each at the water filling volume of 25%、50%、75% and 100%. The settlement allowance of each coordinate and water balance tank foundation were all in line with the requests of procedures; settlement test was done successfully one time.
The success of the settlement test means that all the work of the two water balance tank of PS1-C pump station is completed, which will facilitate the following piping erection work.
