Good news | Korla Zhongtai Petrochemical PTA project puts into operation with high quality and efficiency

As of 23:50 on January 5, the 1,200,000 t/a PTA project of Xinjiang Korla Zhongtai Petrochemical Co., Ltd undertaken by ELECO, was put into operation for 72 hours, and the daily output of high-quality PTA products was 3372 tons, reaching a design capacity of 102.56%, which means that PTA project was successfully put into operation once.

This project has completed the installation of 236 sets of dynamic and static equipment, 436 tons of non-standard equipment, 306,500 inches of process pipelines, 1675 units of instruments, 13,560 meters of cable tray, and 616,500 meters of cables. Overall goal of high-standard handover and commissioning of PTA project have been achieved as scheduled.

It is understood that Sino-Thai Petrochemical's 1,200,000 t/a PTA project is a key project in Xinjiang Autonomous Region. The project adopts the third-generation production process independently developed by Petro China Kunlun Company, and the technology is internationally leading. The project is completed and put into operation, which will greatly improve the Sino-Thai chemical viscose fiber industry chain, accelerate the qualitative change of the overall production structure of Sino-Thai Group, and will greatly promote the economic development of Xinjiang and the long-term stability of societ
